Harnessing the Sun with Smart Tracking Technology
This project in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, involved the installation of a dual solar solution: a roof-mounted array and a ground-mounted solar tracker. Due to limited roof space, we fitted 4 high-performance solar panels on the customer’s 2-storey home and supplemented them with a Heliomotion ground-mounted tracker system hosting 6 additional panels. The tracker uses GPS to follow the sun’s movement across the sky, allowing the system to perform at peak efficiency throughout the day. All 10 panels were connected to Enphase microinverters and paired with a 5kW Enphase storage battery for enhanced energy independence.
The result: lower energy bills, reduced carbon footprint, and a sleek, high-tech system that looks as good as it performs.

Expanding Solar Potential with Ground-Mounted Innovation
With just 4 panels on the home’s roof, energy production was limited. By adding a ground-mounted solar tracker fitted with 6 additional panels, we maximised generation capacity. The Heliomotion tracker system adapts to the sun’s angle throughout the day, delivering optimal performance and year-round energy savings. Combining this with a 5kW battery means stored solar energy can be used when it's needed most.
